At times from internal or external people we get the question why the build numbers deviate between the latest build and the latest beta.It would be good and pure practice to only promote released Beta's to Finals, from a release perspective. But on the other hand releasing a Beta + the usual grease period would again mean a delay for usage of the large amount of fixes in the release being deployed. Zarafa has released a Zarafa client update for the 7.0.x and 7.1.x production versions in response to the public push by Microsoft of the Outlook 2010 update KB2687623.

Yesterday we posted a technical blog post about the iOS 6 meeting 'hijacking' issue. Using iOS 6 in some cases an attendee can "take over" a meeting and send meeting cancellations to all other attendees. Read the full story at the Zarafa technical blog.

We have just released 2.0.4 final which contains an important fix related to meeting requests.
We recommend the immediate update, as all meeting requests accepted or edited with 2.0.3 result in a wrong organizer which has major impact on the calendar and future actions.

I'm proud to anounce the availability of Zarafa Cluster Backup 1.4.0 which has been revamped in some ways.
Now it is also possible to use large LDAP-based directories with more than 1000 users in Active Directory (or any LDAP server with single-request sizelimits), the handling with logs has drastically been improved and it now is also possible to thread multiple cluster nodes (like for centralizing backups to one host from multiple nodes completely at the same time).... Together with Zarafa, we are currently implementing the integration between agorum® core and the WebApp of Zarafa. We are happy with the good collaboration with our Zarafa-colleagues from the Netherlands. Ivo van Doorn (Zarafa) has joined us at the agorum®-office in Germany for two days, to get the integration on its way. With his help on the initial code, we were able to continue working on this.

Hello all,
this is just a short note on updated zarafa-cluster-backup. It has some new features and is from now on more "update-safe", which means the config-section has been split from the real script itself.
install.sh should help you use install it faster and easier. You can use it with every new release, as it does not simply overwrite your configuration from now on.

Z-Push 2.0 RC released

We have just released Z-Push 2.0 RC (build 1333).
This version fixes issues with Playbook's and Androids' (>=4.0.3) calendar. It also fixes the issue that a forwarded message has been truncated.The server-side search has been improved as well. The range and the folder in which the search was initiated are taken into account.Android 4 compatibility has been improved a lot with this release.Also a lot of other smaller fixes and improvements have been made.

Changes in Z-Push's SVN

Hi all,
we have made some changes in the svn directory structure. The trunk moved into branches/z-push-1 and branches/z-push-2 into trunk/src. If you have a checkout of a trunk or z-push-2 branch you will have to switch your project into new location. Read here how to switch it.
