Dear Zarafa community members,

With the 30th of April the end of commercial distribution & updates of ZCP has come. Although most of our community members and ecosystem partners have already moved on to Kopano, a snapshot of the latest source code and the latest open source builds are still available here. Please be aware that these packages won’t be maintained in the future and don’t contain any closed source / commercial components of the old Zarafa editions.

We are glad to announce the immediate availability of ZCP 7.2.3 beta 1.
This beta release includes some stability fixes, especially with broken search folders which have not been cleaned up over time. Another fix was made for very large environments in which the zarafa-admin utility did not show up all users larger than the configured ldap page size, even though these have been available in the backend and via zarafa-admin's –details calls.
This release also has added support for ACLs... Read full post

I am happy to announce that my pam_mapi supports Zarafa 7.2 starting with version 0.2.1. At the same time I am very sorry that this update did not happen before the final release but Zarafa unfortunately broke their own rules for compliance for integrations (mentioned on their old website) by simply not publishing a release candidate (RC) of Zarafa 7.2 but directly the final after the second beta (and no, beta and release candidate are definately not the same).

The press already wrote about it: Bodo Möller, Thai Duong and Krzysztof Kotowicz from the Google Security Team discovered a design vulnerability in SSLv3 also known as "POODLE". I would like to try to answer some questions that popped up today regarding Zarafa and POODLE.
Important: Even the vulnerability seems to only affect HTTPS, it might (!) apply to other protocols/services as well (if an attacker has control over the packets that also contain secret data), thus Zarafa might be... Read full post
