zarafa, fedora, epel, redhat, sslv3, poodle, vulnerability
The press already wrote about it: Bodo Möller, Thai Duong and Krzysztof Kotowicz from the Google Security Team discovered a design vulnerability in SSLv3 also known as "POODLE". I would like to try to answer some questions that popped up today regarding Zarafa and POODLE.
Important: Even the vulnerability seems to only affect HTTPS, it might (!) apply to other protocols/services as well (if an attacker has control over the packets that also contain secret data), thus Zarafa might be... Read full post

Hi Community,
It came to our attention that Microsoft updated Outlook 2013 to 15.4649.1003. Unfortunately, our auto-patching mechanism could not completely restore Zarafa’s compatibility.
Private appointments were visible for delegates due Microsoft’s update. These new clients restore Zarafa’s compatibility to Outlook completely. By the way, Outlook 2010 is *not* affected.

Which issues have been resolved?
The first issue is related to RPM-based systems. Administrators have noted that they weren’t able to install WebAccess on their systems. Unfortunately, a patch from the community caused this bug. We have corrected the patch to work with RPM-based systems.
Please keep in... Read full post

Hi partners and friends,
Today, we have a minor update for WebApp. We know this is an uncommon release procedure but it’s has business value for a very small group of Zarafa customers.
Don’t worry though: not many Zarafa customers have to take action. Thus you don’t need to update if we did not inform you personally.
How to get it:
You can grab WebApp 1.6.1 from here Again, you only need to update when you have been in contact... Read full post

A few weeks ago we introduced python-zarafa. This new API allows you to easily create Python scripts that interact with a Zarafa server and its data. Today we are going to show you zarafa-spamhandler.py, a Python script consisting of only 80 lines of code that owes its simplicity to the API.
If you don't have python-zarafa installed, then just head on over to our Github repository. Go ahead and install it first and then come back to learn more about... Read full post

Greetings community,
In preparation for the upcoming Zarafa Tour, we have managed to squeeze in one final release. The 7.1.11 is considered to be a maintenance release.
What’s new in this final
With this 7.1.11 final release, we have addressed a few issues and segfaults in zarafa-search. Even though we will be introducing a new zarafa-search during the Zarafa Tour, we have fixed the former search issues that have been reported by customers and partners.
Check out the change log
