Z-Push 2.0 alpha3 (M4) released

Today we released the third alpha release r907 (Milestone 4) of Z-Push 2.
This is the first version supporting ActiveSync version 14, allowing full HTML email synchronization on all capable devices. Between many features, it is e.g. possible to set/unset your out-of-office settings from your mobile (but not all devices support this).
There is a new tool called "z-push-top" which shows top-like informations about currently connected devices and their activity.

Hub Updates in the past few weeks

as there were some little changes in the past few weeks, I'd like to give everyone a little update:

The hub is now always https protectedIn the past only the login was secured throgh https, this was now changed due to popular request to secure the whole community hub.

Zarafa Collaboration Platform 7.0.3 beta 2

Dear Zarafa users,
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of ZCP 7.0.3 beta 2.
There where several issues reported causing high load on the server. After some investigation we found the cause in outlook 2010 search folders. (for category sorting).Also some searches in Outlook 2010 could produce segfaults because of that.

Dear Zarafa users, We are please to announce the immediate availability of ZCP 7.0.3 beta 1 In this release we did a lot of bug fixing again. Around a hundred fixes where made in this release. Here are some highlights:
Fixed the caldav calendars in IOS 5Fixed a time zone issue in the WebAccess.Various upgrade fixes so you can upgrade with out problems.

The Zarafa-licensed component is only available for the Linux distributions that are build and provided by Zarafa. As the zarafa-licensed is a closed component, the source code is not available.

Postfix discarding Zarafa's autoresponder

If you somehow get the request of "Out-of-Office"-Mails _not_ to be sent to the outer world (just internally - yeah, I had to laugh too), then you can do it this way with postfix (please notice this should only be done on "outer systems" - like outbound mailrelay systems):
main.cf:header_checks = pcre:/etc/postfix/header_checks
/etc/postfix/header_checks:/^X-Zarafa-Vacation: autorespond/ DISCARD
With this, postfix will silently discard any Zarafa autoresponder Mails, so that no mail loops... Read full post
