Alpha Version of zarafa4ucs packages for Zarafa 7

During the Zarafa SummerCamp 2011 we finished the first (alpha) version of zarafa4ucs packages compatible with the new Zarafa 7. Currently we're discussing the best way of distributing the packages. Currently they're _not_ in our repository at but if you would like to test the integration you can download the current version from our webserver

as promised on #zarafasc the split packages for Zarafa 7 are now available on the OBS. Just go ahead and try to use zarafa on the most recent versions of openSUSE (including Factory):

ZCP 7.0.0 is built for sisyphus and p6

ZCP 7.0.0 was built for sisyphus and p6 repositories. It was built for p6 means that it can be used in corporate segment and can be introduced to large customers.Also were built libvmime and z-push.Scecialists of "Center" are watching for Zarafa WebApp and plans to build it for ALTLinux. This will allow WebApp to be tested by more quantaty of users including Russian.

This years Zarafa SummerCamp has started this morning in Kerkrade NL.
On friday there will be an extensive Community Session starting at 15 o'clock featuring talks on different topics around the Zarafa community. We are very proud to have many talks from different distributions and individual contributors of the ongoing presence of Zarafa.

A book about Zarafa Collaboration Platform is written by Michael Kromer and is planned to be released in the end of 2011 by the publisher Most likely in the book line "professional reference".We are looking forward for the first copy.

7.0.0 Final Released

With 7.0.0-27791 we have concluded the work on the initial 7.0 general release, and have made it final. Please read the release notes on this final release.
We received positive feedback on the RC2 release and no general or structural blocking issues were reported or found. We only did one graphical update compared to RC2 in this release. This is on the login screen of the WebAccess.

Z-Push 1.5.4 RC released

We have released the release candidate (RC) of Z-Push 1.5.4, a maintenance release of Z-Push 1.5.This release is fixes different small issues for users with windows mobile, android and nokia phones. Please see the changelog for more informations (link below). It also improves the GAL search specially in combination with ADS. It is also recommended for the IMAP backend users as it fixes some issues with multipart emails.
