New DSM5 compatible version of Zarafa for Synology NAS available

The recent version of the Zarafa SPK (0.5.5) for Synology NAS is now available through the Synology Package Center or the community Hub.
This version is compatible to the newly released firmware DSM5. It contains Zarafa 7.1.8 / Webapp 1.5 and Fetchmail 6.3.26 along with the Web Adminstration GUI which integrates seamless in the Synology DSM Interface.
The Upgrade is quite easy:

Create a backup of your DS (especially your Zarafa mysql Database)
Upgrade to Synology DSM5

Last week Johan from Open-Future talked about Collaboration at the Zarafa event “Life Beyond Email”, the yearly Zarafa event for the Belgium Zarafa Partners and Zarafa Customers. As the title of the event suggest, it is clear that Zarafa is moving from a groupware to a collaboration platform. It all started around e-mail, calendaring and adding 'teaming' facilities. Dear Community,
Just wanted to let you know we had another great experience with Zarafa tech support. And this issue might be of interest to you as well.
After the upgrade to WebApp 1.5 we found out that the ‘enable keyboard shortcuts’ option is automatically deactivated. In an enterprise environment with 2.000+ users that caused trouble for their internal helpdesk and stalled the entire upgrade project.

May I have a couple minutes of your time? I would like to show you our latest and final 7.1.8 release. The few minor wrinkles in the last couple of release candidates have been carefully ironed out. The final stamp of approval by the QA team means that we may proceed with the launch of ZCP.
